Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Engineer to join for one of our Air Conditioner Maintenance Client in Al Ain, UAE. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across commercial and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and specify HVAC systems for new construction and retrofit projects in compliance with local and international codes (ASHRAE, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, etc.)
• Conduct site assessments, load calculations, and energy modeling to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar BIM tools
• Supervise installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment, ensuring adherence to design intent, safety protocols, and project timelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions, performance issues, and maintenance challenges on-site
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and facility managers throughout the project lifecycle
• Perform energy audits and recommend upgrades to improve system efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Maintain accurate records of system designs, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation
• Stay updated on emerging HVAC technologies, sustainability practices, and regulatory changes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field
• 4–5 years of proven experience in HVAC design, installation, commissioning, or maintenance in commercial or industrial environments
• Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, EnergyPlus, HAP, or similar)
• Strong understanding of ASHRAE standards, building codes, and UAE-specific regulations
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and system optimization
• Valid UAE work permit and experience working within the UAE construction and engineering sector is highly advantageous
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal
