Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and well professional Restaurant Supervisor/Bar Supervisor for one of our prestigious hospitality clients in Al Ain. This position is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house activities and contributing to a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor front-of-house staff, including waiters, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring consistent service delivery.
- Manage daily operations, including shift scheduling, staff assignments, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
- Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally, turning negative experiences into positive outcomes.
- Monitor inventory levels of consumables and coordinate with the kitchen and procurement teams to prevent stockouts.
- Utilize restaurant management software to track sales, manage reservations, process orders, and generate daily reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment in line with brand standards.
- Promote the restaurant through active engagement on social media platforms, including content creation and customer interaction.
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members, ensuring they are aligned with service protocols and company culture.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement marketing initiatives, special events, and promotional campaigns.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports using Microsoft Word and other reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety procedures across all shifts.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with at least 6 months in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Proficient in using restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems, reservation platforms, inventory tools).
- Strong command of Microsoft Word for report writing, documentation, and operational planning.
- Experience managing social media accounts for a restaurant or hospitality brand, including content scheduling and engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Valid UAE work visa and willingness to reside in provided accommodation.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal hospitality or business qualification is a plus.
- Knowledge of UAE labor laws and hospitality industry standards.
