A luxury Resort/Hotel in Al Ain is seeking an experienced Handyman (General Maintenance / DIY Support) to oversee daily restaurant and bar operations. The role involves assisting with general repairs, sewage blockages, cleaning activities, and supporting the maintenance team to ensure smooth facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in resolving sewage and drainage blockages
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and repair tasks
- Support cleaning and maintenance teams in daily operations
- Carry out general DIY and minor fixing work
- Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are properly handled
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests within the property
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across the premises
- Assist other staff as required for operational efficiency
Requirements
- Previous (1-3 years work experience) in handyman or maintenance roles preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Flexible with working hours
