Responsibilities Prepare, marinate, season, and grill various BBQ items. Operate and maintain BBQ grills and related cooking equipment. Ensure proper cooking temperatures and food quality. Prepare sauces, marinades, and BBQ accompaniments. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the BBQ preparation area. Monitor food stock and inform the supervisor about shortages. Follow food safety and hygiene standards. Ensure consistent taste, portion size, and presentation. Work efficiently during busy service periods. Minimize food waste and maintain proper storage of ingredients. Requirements Previous experience as a BBQ Specialist, BBQ Chef, Grill Chef, or similar role. Strong knowledge of grilling and BBQ cooking techniques. Ability to prepare different types of meat, chicken, seafood, and vegetables. Knowledge of marinades, seasoning, and BBQ sauces. Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen. Good teamwork and communication skills. Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
